my age is 29 & OUR WELL KNOWN SC/BC family IS WILLING TO ADOPT ME. i am ma b.ed private teacher if i am adopted by an sc bc family then can i avial the benefit of reservation please clarify the same matter

To my knowledge, the upper age limit for an adopted child is 12 years only. i.e., a child below the age of 12 years only can be adopted. Therefore the adoption will be invalid. Further, by mere adoption cast will not change. The caste of the parents to whom the adopted child born. will only apply.

You can not get a status of SC by adoption. Even a wife does not get the status of SC by marrying a SC man.

According to law one gets the community status by birth. You can change your religion not caste.
