green mark - Offence

Is non printing of a green mark in the label of a pack containing vegetarian product amounts to an offence under Prevention of Food Adulteration Act/Rules?

Definitely it is an offense now under section 16 (1) (a) of food Adulteration Act and also under Rule 37 (1) of its Rules 1954.

YES IT IS OFFENCE UNDER PREVENTION OF FOOD ADULTERATION ACT U/S 16[1]A AND RULE 37[1].
