Heirship certificate

i have gave the use documents to my lawyer for making heirship certificate he told me that it will get after 3 or 4 months later is he doing right job please help me its urgent

For heirship certificate you have to approach the Tehsildar or Mamlatdar and not the civil court. I think u have approached the Advocate for Succession certificate, which will take 3 to 4 months as advised by ur Advocate.If it is for heirship certificate, you will be able to get it within 15 to 20 days time.

What could delay Succession certificate ? say, if some objections are raised by the persons enjoying deceased's estate exclusively ??
