what is right of the daughter in partnership firm with in the family members after 2005 as a copastner after the death of her father interstate sir,the partnership was between the family members alown not stranges.Her father was a partner with his brothers in different business,since they sold a property which was divied among brothers as ajointfamily property,the funds where invested in his partnership firm with his family members thatis his 2 sons leaving the daughters.Will the daughter get equal shair in the partnership business,since they were not included in the partnership deed.will the daughters be treated as copasners along with the sons.

Succession as per Hindu Law surely applies to you as a daughter of your father. In respect of your father's properties, u r a coparcener. But it is doubtful, if such properties include partnership firm. Were u involved in this firm earlier in any manner, even contribution of money initially or continuously, or by way of working partner? in that case you can lay ur claim straightaway.

It is family business, as per amended Hindu Succession Act sec 8 daughter will have equal share she is co-parcener of the joint family.

I my opinion she will take share only to the extent of her father's share in the partnership firm.

I am supporting the opinions of the experts herein.Daughters have the same right as the son having in the property.

Thank you sir rajeev,kiran,uma,jayasree,and others I have modifyed my query,since the partnership was started from joint family niqulies.and grew up with jointfamily asiestens,and jointfamily funds.in countuning with 20 june query
