DEAR EXPERT,
I HAVE A HOUSE PROPERY PURCHASED BY MY FATHER. BUT AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE I WAS 8 YEARS OLD i.e. MINOR. MY ELDER BROTHER SHOWED AS GUARDIAN. LAST YEAR MY FATHER DIED.
NOW MY AGE IS 30 YEARS.
CAN I SELL THE HOUSE PROPERTY WITHOUT CONSENT OF MY ELDER BROTHER?

Yes. Your brother ws guardian of you until you attained the age of 18 years. Now you are having an age of 30 years so you may sell it without asking/permission to your brother but socially you should take him in your confidence.

The fact of attaining majority is borne out by the original sale deed. i.e., one can ascertain the fact from the date appearing in the original sale deed. What is the kind of correction pointed out by the expert? where it is to be made? In my view no correction of any record is necessary. I am in agreement with the view expressed by Shri Rajkumar.

as your brother was guardian till you attain majority so after u attain majority u automatically become capable to sell the property and guardianship of your brother came to end the time you attained majority
