my wife was given complaint against me and my family member in women cell yamunanagar. i tried to get copy of complaint . i contact with rti officer yamunanagar. she say you send the written request & 50 rupees postal order the name of sp yamunanagar. i sent request. but, she say investigation is not close. so, we can not give copy of complaint. how i can get a copy of complaint. i want to know, which complaint police recieve written. then police will register the complaint in ddr.

well you may not get the copy at this stage by way of RTI as the matter is pending investigation.
if some action is to be taken by police then they will summon you and will provide you with the copy of the complaint filed against you.
you will get a fair chance to defend yourself.
Let the police find out whether you are required to be summoned or not.

You can get the copy of the complaint under RTI Act and if denied, file first appeal before IG of police of Haryana.
