I want to give an Evidence Affidavit to the legal representatives of Lesotho Revenue Authorities., in regards to the fraudalant tax practices and tax evasion of a business group in the country Kingdom of Lesotho, where I was working few years ago. The representatives are going to visit me shortly and they are in need of my Evidence Affidavit. As much as I want to give them the Affidavit, I do not know the procedure. Hence requesting you to please advise me.

As you have to provide your affidavit in India so purchase a stamp paper (non-judicial) meant for affidavits printed on the prescribed value of your State (In Haryana it is of Rs. 10/- value) and then systematically get typed the sequence of the events, which you want to elaborate. It shall be better if your version is given in paragraphs duly numbered. At last you shall verify the contents of your paragraphs. You should get that affidavit duly notarized before handing over it to the concerned authorities.

Mr.Makkad has told the correct procedure. However, I would like to add that an affidavit attested by a judicial magistrate or a Commissioner of Oaths would have far more weightage. In any event, kindly find out if there is any specific provision in that particular country with regard to sworn affidavits.
