What is the nature of transaction. Since both the individual & the business are same and don't hold separate legal identity, payment can be made in either names.

YOU CAN ISSUE THE CHEQUE EITHER THE PROPRIETOR OR FIRM MORE OR LESS BOTH ARE EQUAL.
