My Father bought a plot in 2001 in AMS Layout Vidyaranyapura and the katha was issued by the panchayat board. Now we are planning to sell the land and the agent as asked us to get the katha transferred to BBMP. How do i Proceed with this convertion of katha from panchayat to BBMP, and sell the land

At the time of purchase of the plot, it was panchayat and if it was converted into Municipality, the khata will be automatically recorded in Municipal records. So you can contact BBMP authorities, if necessary submit an application to the BBMP.

Yes, the panchayat having upgraded to BBMP, the changeover ought to be a mere administrative process for which landholders need not make any extra effort.
