well the distance learning course is being provided by few of the universities, but it will not provide u license to practice as a lawyer.

it will be more like an academic exercise.

however, if possible then find out some evening classes, in regular course, being run by certain universities and colleges mainly for the employees.

it is bad luck that distance learning in field of law is not available. in todays world engineering, agriculture, some medical courses are available in distance learning mode.

Annamalai University provides such course through distance education system.

As Mr.Kiran said, such degrees obtained thru distance education cannot be used to get enrolled.

Annamalai university is offering BGL & BAL can both courses are not eligible to get enrolled as an advocate.

Such genuine issues need to be addressed by the Bar Council of India in the best interests of the legal profession. Any blanket ban or de-recognition of any distant learning mode is not the solution to check the overall standards of law eduction in the country.
