Law / rules for full time employee studying llb course

(Querist) 26 August 2016 This query is : Resolved
Sir,
I want to join LLB ( 3 Years ) full time/regular course as per BCI rules. I was qualified in entrance exam also.I am a Full time employee in a Private company. I can accommodate my timings for the attending classes, as I have flexible working hours in my company (Software Industry). Do I need to submit any No Objection Certificate from my current employer? What I have to submit as a pre-condition, so that, I will not get affected by existing rules in force for registering as a Advocate

It shall be good to attend evening classes so that you may neither require either NOC nor may compromise with the mandatory condition of BCI to attend regular classes.

Institution / bar council need attendance provided you can attend. May keep NOC for any future requirement.

Some of the establishments in your industry and other Industries as well draft comprehensive an detailed appointment letter, contract of employment, service ruyles, HR policy, employee handbook etc etc.................

Check everything and read between the lines.

If there is a clause that you need to obtain sanction for studies ( during/after work hours) then inform/apply/obtain sanction.

Some employer provide for education and even pay the fee to deserving/selected candidates.

NOC from employer is always good.

In your Industry many of the professionals are realizing the scope and opting to study law.

It may take time but the scope is very very good.

Success depends upon individuals efforts, hard work and a good mentor.

Acquiring knowledge is a person's basic right. Any condition denying this right is void. The employer need not have any objection unless the rigours of continuing education adversely affects your performance in the employment.
