Is there any legal requirement / law governing leave encasement rules to be paid to an employee who is resigning during the probationary period (probation period being 6 months )? The industry is for a NBFC which has presence in multiple states across India.

Pls post with your ID and you can get many replies.............. Mention the name of state where employee was located.........The enactments in the state/central shall prevail upon leave rules........... So NO need to get influenced by leave rules.
You will be supported thoroughly.

You obviously have a legal problem. Post as suggested and you will be thoroughly supported. There should be NO debate on reasons and no need for any reference to any literature on IT.

Leave encashment cannot be refused just because of probation. If leave encashment is allowed in cases of resignation, then you are also eligible. It depends upon the extant norms.
