(Querist) 04 September 2008 This query is : Resolved
Can any one of you share with me the difference between Legal and Lawful:
LL.B., is a graduate degree or post graduate degree? Any case on this?
ESTHERPRIYA (Expert) 04 September 2008
upto my knowledge legal means the wordings of the law and the spirit of law provisions.
Lawful means any act done according to the established legal principles. LL B is a under gratuate degree LL M is the post graduate degree. Moreover i dont have any case on this subject.

LL.B is not a master degree. it is bachler degree. Law means rule made by authorities for the proper regulation of a society or community or for correct conduct of life. So Lawful means according to law or do what is allowed by law. Legal is do some thing according to law. So Law is an outer circle and legal is the inner circle of it.
