Co-operative Hsg. Soc. charging legal fees to members for a review pettision filed by member. The society has charges all legal and other charges to the member. Is it legaly valid and correct ? This way member need to meet his legal expenses as well as all legal and other expenses incurred by the soceity . The member is at disadvantages on all account and connot take recourse legal remedy unless he is prepared to meet two legal charges to fight injustice.

you can request the society to furnish in writing on what basis the legal charges are being debited to his account . was any resolution passed in Managing Committee meeting . ?
request the secretary to furnish said particulars

Yes If the case is filed by the Society which is affecting all the members at large then it is the duty of the members to bear the proportionate cost of the legal expenses. Now if you find any irregularity in the expenses you can highlight the same before the chairman.

yes agreed with all experts but it is for all society members then all members can accepted and pay, everything according to the bylaw of society, if it for individual or one man purposes then you all put a petition before the chairman of the society and seek the reason
