limitation period passed for notice

hi,
i would like to know what is the best possible renmedy after time period of 30 days to send notice has passed in dishonour of cheque. The amount is not much so could there be a way to sort this out without much litigation? and its a matter of friendly loan except that dishonour cheque nothing is in writing.

Since you are not personally interested in seeking legal remedy I suggest you get the matter settled through mediation of any common friends/persons for realizing the dues.

We all here are for telling and advising legal ways/procedures/mechanism but if you prefer settlement without using all this process, then involve some other persons than advocates in your matter and resolve it as you like.

Forget if you donot want to recover the money. Otherwise represent the cheque if there is validity period left and on being bounced file complaint under NIAct. If no then file a suit for recovery within time limit.

shri. rajkumar makkad ji if u have got a negotiable instrument of 10000 and limitation period is passed would u get involved in litigation. i cud have cosulted other proffesional also but i believe we advocates can resolve any problem under the sun. thanks for ur precious advice.
