Mr. Sheik is off the mark.
The LL.B. can be pursued in two streams.
1. By undertaking 5 year integrated Course after completion of 10+2. The maximum age limit for admission is 21 years. This admission is through Competitive Entrance Examination.
2. By undertaking 3 year regular LL.B. - This can be done after completion of 3 year regular Degree course with 50% average. Though Bar Council of India has prescribed 30 years as maximum age for admission, this rule has been stayed by some High Courts. In those States where the HCs have stayed the age restriction, the admission is being allowed without any age restriction. HOWEVER, in other States the Age restriction is being implemented.
