mact claim for death of buffalo

what is the provisions of MACT for claim petiton for the death of a buffalo in a motor vehicle accident.
can it be filed u/s 163-a or 166 of mv act?

ar any other special provision?
can anyone provide a model petition for this purpose?

Hi Tarun,
If the buffalo has got hit by any Motor Vehicle having a valid Policy of Insurance and there is no breach of the other terms & conditions of the policy by the owner/insured, then, I believe, yours is a case u/s. 166 mv Act and the liability of the insurer is limited to what is envisaged in the act towards Third Party property Damage i.e. to a maximum sum of Rs.6000/- only.
