Maintenance case in the name of my sons

1. I Hv decree u/s 9 against my wife.
2. Since she did not obey the decree I filed divorce.
3. She filled maintenance case on behalf of my kids.
4 ordered to pay 25000 pm for two sons by the court.
5 in spite of that I have invited huge looses in my business and proved that I am looking for job now the court ordered such huge amount.
I have filed appeal in high court, the date given is 8.1.2019.
Am I supposed to pay 25k pm till the 8.1.2019?

Yes, the order for 25k maintenance has to be paid by you unless that order is stayed by the High Court and that was not done.
The respondent can always seek execution of the money decree against you if the same not paid by you.
Execution means attachment of your properties, bank accounts etc.

No escape. You will have to pay maintenance till your appeal is finally decided in your favour.

Did you ask the question from your lawyer ? If not, discuss with him/her who is better informed, an able, competent and intelligent enough to advise and proceed.
