Dear Sir,
My uncle has sold his agricultural land to me .Although he has 3 married daughters he never wanted to share any portion of the same.He is firm on his stand that doesnt want to share even a single inch of land with his daughters and son inlaws. In this case can they claim the share in land.

u do receive clear title of land, if it was self acquired. Your uncle can sell it to any agricult. D cannot claim any share in it.

If the land is ancestral then such sale can be got challenged at any time and and in that event, you shall have to lose your rights therein and if the land is self acquired of your uncle then nothing to worry.

Dear Sir,
It was not a gift deed .I have got it registered by paying stamp duty of relevant amount as per valuation.

Sir,
I did not envisaged that this would become an issue. This sale deed happened 2 months back and my uncle is still alive and is firm that he doesnt want to share with his daughters.
