The property came from my grand mother parents to my grand mother son, is it ansisteral property? Can anybody claim share in this property as ansisteral property?

property inherited by grandmother's son from his grandmother's parents will be considered self acquired property of grandmother's son and no person has right to claim any share or right on it.

Your grandmother's parents gave some properties to your grandmother's son; hence, it will be treated as his self-acquired property, and no one has a right over this.

I agree with the opinion and advise of learned experts, such property is to be termed as "self-acquired" and not "ancestral"
T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Expert) 06 April 2023
Inherited properties can be received from any family member. However, you should know that inherited properties from your mother, grandmother, uncle, brother, or other family members don't qualify as ancestral properties.
Ancestral property is a property inherited by a hindu family from their father, grandfather or great grandfather by birth. It is an undivided property from four generations which is inherited. If a property is inherited by any other relations then it is not considered as an ancestral property. A property inherited from the maternal side is not considered as ancestral property. It is a separate property.
