medical facility

I am a delhi govt. servant. My father who is handicapped is dependent upon me and my grand mother is also dependent on me who is deaf and dumb. I am availing medical facility for my father. Highet Authorities are refusing to provide me the medical facility in respect of my grand mother. Please advise me whether i can avail medical facility for my grand mother or not if yes under which rule.

The medical facility is provided to the depenent family members of the Government employees, as per the definition of family given in the CSMA Rules or the CGHS, as applicable. Grand mother does not fall within the purview of your family, as she can be treated as dependent of your father, not of yours.

You can not avail medical facilities for your grand mother under the rules.
