Mispelled father name in marriage certificate..

In Our marriage certificate my wifes father name have some spelling mistake when comparing to school certificate. can we change her father name in marrige certificate,what is the procedure for that in kerala? can she apply for passport with the present marrige certificate..pls help me...

just you meet the registrar of marriage and bring mistake to his noticr and get correct it.

you can file application for correction to registrar. and you should apply for passport after correction.

Spelling mistakes of her father can be ignored at the time of applying to passport. After the marriage the husband name will appear in the passport.
