Mutual cosent divorce

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 09 September 2010 This query is : Resolved
I want to know, is mutual consent divorce process different in district civil court and family court?

My mutual consent divorce do not contain hearing and any counseling, but I think its needed as I still think to re-join with my spouse. My advocate asked me to come to court after 6 months to collect divorce letter. But I want court to think about our petition, as there is no serious reason to separate and our case can be solved by good counselor.
Can I request court to give us counseling sessions?

no differ process.. all over india same procedure. for your kind information district civil judge will not deal about divorce cases.. the district family judge or any sub judge can deal your case. court fee will be differ.

The object of posting mutual divorce petitions after six months is only to provide such contingencies like the one you have stated. you are liberty to inform the court about it and ask for counselling. Nothing wrong in it. the court will also definitely oblige and give you a chance.
