My 6 cheque books are missing

Dear Sir,
While searching my cheque books for auditing purpose, i came to know that 6 cheque books containing 81 blank signed cheques are missing. Can i do Online police complaint and get CSR online?. Is it mandatory to visit local police station and give written complaint? What is the procedure? Please guide me.

You can file it online but it is better to file in person and get the acknowledgment.

By signing the cheques without filling amount and name of payee and then loosing it also you are basically paving way into jail.

As and when such cheque is misused by and XYZ, each time you have to prove that you owed nothing to said XYZ.

If your cheque books are indeed missing, why you are so obsessed with the trifling as to procedure in making the complaint?
