Dear Sir I made appeals online to CIC . They were recd but kept pending stating signed copy awaited. It is the online facility of CIC I availed. Why then signed copy is needed? Isn't it contradiction on the part of CIC? I am pasting the observation by CIC on my online appeals:-

TO GET THE MATTER ENTERED IMMEDIATELY YOU ARE SENDING DIGITAL DOCUMENT. IN ORDER TO GET IT ON PAPERS YOU MUST SEND A HARDCOPY FOR PROPER DISPOSAL. YOU CAN VERY THE SAME THROUGH rti ACT ON THIS ASPECT.

You are required to send hard copy of your appeal under your signature along-with certified copy of order under appeal so that appropriate order may be passed. This your failure.

Dear Sirs What is the point having an online facility to lodge a complaint/ appeal online with scanned copies of the documents. At least it is not highlighted in the website of CIC. Any way I shall listen to the advice and submit a hard copy each of my appeals. Thanks.

I have deserted the complaint lodged as they were old but have submitted second appeal as per Sec 19(3) of RTI Act on the same issue.
