Namste
I did court marriage before 1year, my wife was divorced. But now I known that her previous marriage was also court marriage. And her divorce case is still pending, she cheated with me.
Now she want divorce and asking for POTAGI also.
I'm working in a private company as a assistant.
Before marriage she was working in a beauty parlour.
What can I do?

Your marriage is void if she is yet to get divorce from her first husband.

There is no legal validity for your marriage if your wife did not get the divorce of her previous marriage and if it is still pending.
If you do not have children with this marriage then keep away from now with her.
You have to establish before the court that still her divorce proceedings are pending, if she already filed a divorce case against you, otherwise you need not worry.

Get copies of divorce proceedings of her previous marriage.
You may file case to declare the marriage null and void.

If her previous marriage is still in live, your second marriage is illegal. There is no need for filing a divorce case.
