Who are the executants of MOU? Have you purchased any stamp paper? Your query is not clear.
T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Expert) 16 June 2023
If the MOU involves your wife also anong the executants, then her name will certainly appear in the deed.
Advocate Bhartesh goyal (Expert) 16 June 2023
Yes, you can get registered the property your name only irrespective of the fact that stamp paper of M.O.U/sale agreement was purchased on both you and your wife but you will have to made your wife as confirming party in sale deed.
Dr. J C Vashista (Expert) 18 June 2023
You can get the sale deed executed and registered in your (sole) name, there is no legal infirmity.
However, contents of MoU merge with Sale Deed after registration in your (individual) name, and the name of your wife in the MoU shall have no effect/ legal consequence.
