It seems to be an academic question. If it relates to some real problem, background of the case is necessary for appropriate advice.
The question arises, when grand mother is defendant, how the notice has been made to be concerned with you, and what about your father? Also, what is the concern of your mother with the case?
Anyway, if it is about some real problem, what you can do is to get the notice along with the copy of petition examined by some local lawyer for taking further course of action.
