Is it mandatory to give notification to
local police station while engaging a security agency for residential flat's
car parking?

Intimation to local police station will always help to identify the character and antecedents of the personnel engaged for Security services. However, it is optional.

It is not mandatory. As Mr.Partha said the intimation will help you in case of dispute or to avoid dispute.

It is not mandatory but U may be in trouble should something go wrong. The police usually seek all details of such agency & it helps in case the police decide to conduct its own inquiry should they suspect anything amiss.
