Is a person eligible for OBC NCL when Both parents have passed away long ago. (9 years). Mother was non earning and father was into business. The last Obc was issued when father was living and his income was below the cieling of NCL existing at that time.
I have heard that for OBC Ncl only income from parents is requisite. Since, both parents have passed away there is No income. However, the applicant is earning 60k per month
Does i am eligible to apply for renew obc ncl certificate??

Yes! As your annual income falls below Rs.8 lacs but only 7, 20,000 you can apply OBC Non creamy Layer quota.

But obc ncl does not takes into account income of applicant. Only parents income is required. In the present case, both parents have expired 9 yrs ago..and presently there is no income of parents. Pls clarify.

THAT MEANS YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR OBC NON CREAMY LAYER CERTIFICATE.
