Respected Sir/Mam
I Gursirat Sidhu, associate in an International Five Star hotel in India itself.
Yesterday while I was on duty I was carrying plates from the back area of the restaurant and suddenly my foot slipped off.
7-8 plates broke off which I was carrying and my right hand got 4 cuts, I got a hip side injury and there is severe pain in my elbow joint aswell.
Hotel didn't provided me with the medical aid till yet.
I just wanted to know that is hotel liable to provide medical aid and bear all the medical expenses.
I am staying 1200kms far away from my family and no one is here to take care of me.
I shall be very thankful to the entire team in assisting me out.
Regards
Gursirat Sidhu.

If ESI Act is applicable to you, then treatment shall be provided under that act.
Compensation under Employees Compensation Act may also be claimed.

Send an email from personal email id to good offices of appointing authority,Head-HR narrating the incidence and remain gentle and amiable.
Are you covered by ESIC,Mediclaim Policy and have you been provided with I.Card?
If no one has attended then add it your representation and apply for sick leave...............get yourself examined and keep all -ray,Lab Reports,Rx of doctor,Medical Bills,Medical Certificate, Bed rest advise, etc safely and do not submit originals till you get confirmation and submit scanned copies that you can do even by a smartphone.
Call your family, friends, and consult with an able counsel specializing in labor law.
Employer should have helped and provided with medical aid and taken you to hospital and paid for treatment.
Are you a Trainee or employee?

Proceed / take steps as advised by the expert Kumar Doab.
Generally such concerns buy mediclaim for its employees. Confirm whether the facility was extended in your case.
