Pagdi system:- rent not received

Respected Sir/Madam,

I have inherited a flat from my Grand father given on a pagdi system since 1982. My tenant has not paid rent since 1992. I have done various written communications with him regarding this due amount but haven't received any revert from his end.He is not having a rent receipt since 1992. Requesting you to suggest the suitable action that I can take against him to receive pending rent/get the premises vacated.

Send a legal notice for default and eviction.

Send legal notice for rent and ask for eviction. Contact a local lawyer.

Recovering the rent from the year 1992 will be a tough task, however send a lawyer's notice. What were you doing for all these 22 years?
