AM SAMIT KUMAR BHOL GOT DISCHARGE FROM IAF ON 31 OCT 2009 AFTER COMPLETION OF REGULAR ENGAGEMENT PERIOD.I GOT EMPLOYMENT IN INDIA POST AS POSTAL ASSISTANT IN PAY SCALE 5200-20200 ,GP 2400 ON FEB 2011 AS A EX SERVICE MAN.MY LAST BASIC WAS IN INDIAN AIR FORCE RS-17640.I WANT TO KNOW I AM ELLIGIBLE FOR PAY PROTECTION OR NOT .PLEASE GIVE ME THE CIRCULAR FOR GIVING PAY PROTECTION TO THOSE WHO ARE SRVING IN CENRAL GOVT AFTER REEMPLOYMENT AS A EX SERVICEMAN.THANKS

There is a gap of more than one year in your re-eployment. Normally condonation of break in service is permissible for one year on application. However, you may try to get the condonation of the intermittent period for considering the service in continuation by making representation through proper channel to the Chief Postmaster Geeneral to get the approval of the competent authority. If that can help you to get advantage of your past service in the present department.

Pay protection shall not be available for employment after retirement.

Dear Vijayan, For author's guidance as well as my guidance, can you please quote any rule or Government of India's in support of your advice that after retirement from one organization pay protection is not available to the employee on getting employment in any other Government organization?
