Resignation entails forfieture of service for pension purposes. However, if you applied for the CPSU job through proper channel you can get benefit of past service. If resigned on selection for the post by direct application to the CPSU, you will have to forget about the pension for past service.

Dear Anonymous,
You have mention about your selection is CPSU, which is not a state public sector undertaking. Also please clarify whether you represented in writing and received any written reply from your organisation or not?

Sir,Thanx once agin for your prompt reply.I am selected in a CPSU.My orginasation has given in writing that this rule of pro-rata pensionary benefits is not applicbale to them. When clarified, I have been informed that the rule of pro-rata pensionary benefits is applicbale for those central government employees who are selected in CPSU(movement from central government to CPSU) not from state PSU to CPSU.

If you serve in the State Govt and shifts to another State PSU, the pension will be disbursed by the State Govt only. So, you will not have any problem.
But, If you serve in the Central Govt and shifts to another CPSU, the pension will be disbursed by the Central Govt only. So, you will not have any problem.
I am of the opinion that the State Govt is right in denying the pension.
