Permission to higher study for mcd employee

I am teacher in MCD School(Govt School) and intend to do B A from Delhi University through correspondence. Do I need to take prior permission from competent Authority.

Yes. Otherwise the qualification will not be added to record and also you are liable for disciplinary action.

yes.. in tamilnadu also you have to permit by your higher officials.,

but there is no very much formalities..

That is for full time course.
For correspondence course it does not require mandatory permission from competent authority.

As you intend to do B A from Delhi University through correspondence it may not cause any worry but taking permission from authority, which in your case would be granted blindly, would be a better decision on your part..
