Privileges for senior citizen in high court

We are fighting a case for specific performance for the last 7 years in Delhi High Court. The case is still before the Jt. Registrar and cross examination of the defendant is in progress. We hardly get 3 or 4 dates in High Court and on these dates the counsel of defendant on one or two dates gets a postponement due to one or the other reason. The delayed process of getting justice in court is killing us and we are now over 60 years and senior citizen. Kindly advise us the format of application for filing in the court for speedy hearing and judgement. Because we think the process of getting final justice will be furthered delayed at various upper levels in the court by the defendants.

oppose application of defendant for adjournment . insist on payment of costs by Defendants . mention that you are senior citizen . the format of application for expediting the suit will be with your lawyer

There is no requirement of specific format for moving such application. Definitely senior citizens have previlage to be heard first so take benefit of this general approach of the courts.
