Probate

(Querist) 09 October 2012 This query is : Resolved 
My Aunt is a permanent resident of Mumbai but she has no property in Mumbai.
She has immovable properties in Ahmadabad. On her death does her Will require probate?
I wish to clearly understand whether permanent residence and immovable property both should be at Presidency Town for Probate?
