Probationers eligibility for Minimum Wage???

Hi All,

I need some information as to whether a probationer is entitled to Minimum Wage and if yes please pass on relevant judgement in support of the same.

Probationer is an employee even though on a probation. Hence, Minimum Wages Act applies. No citation is required for this clear cut analogy.

Probation is not a disqualification to claim minimum wages and being a workman he is equally entitled for the grant of minimum wages.
