How many Acts have been enacted till today to prohibit the child Labour?

so many Acts Somes are:-
The Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Act, 1986.
the Child Labour (Abolition and Rehabilitation) Act,2006.

Why these provisions are ineffective when it comes to the broad daylight children employment in Fire Crackers industry, Masonry for Highways, Public Restaurants, Tea Stalls, Dhabas, etc. Experts can probe the reasons.

Up to what age a human being can called as Child is also a question. Age is mentioned different in different Acts. There are many Acts are existing to protect the Child from forced labour.Enforcement authorities and NGO's can do well in this matter.

Dear Vijay,
Every act that is applicalbe to establishments, has age limits to take the person on employment.
Any person upto the age of 14 yaers is a child. A person between 15-17 is called an adolscent. and Person above 18 is called an adult.
Acts are given below:
1. Shops act
2. Factory act
3. Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Act, 1986
4. Mines Act, etc....
