My mother in law died leaving behind 2 daughters ,a son and husband.The land with building is in the name of my deceased mother in law.My mother was govt employee. My brother in law has said that he is not going give the share to my wife and to his other sister.what can I do now legally?

Has she died intestate - that is, without leaving a Will?

If not, the property is is jointly vested with the father-in-law and the all the children.

Your father-in-law may be able to work out an amicable family settlement. If not, file a suit for partition.
