Prosecution of Receiver.

If a Receiver appointed by the civil court commit a criminal act, can he be prosecuted without any sanction from the court appointing him?

Sanction is not required if the offence is not comitted in course of his official duty, as per latest judgment of Hon'ble Supreme Court.
