pvt non recognised school liable to reply RTI2005

hello experts
mine is a small scale pre- primary school. i got a letter in which i have to disclose some information under RTI 2005 . what will happen if i won't disclose and don't reply to them. I don't know much abt RTI 2005 so pls help me to know more about it

It depend on nature of information sought. However, if the information is sought directly from private school, the school can deny the same but if any information regarding implementation of any policy, rule or provision of law of education department is sought through the Education Department and in pursuance of said request, the department asks said information from school, the school is bound to provide.

You are not covered under RTI act. You need not reply to any RTI applications.
But, you are liable to give all the information to the Education department. Any body can obtain that information from the education department only, not directly from you.

The question is whether this private school covers under RTI Act and is it mandatory to disclose the information sought for as per the provisions of RTI Act.
Your school is a private school and it is not covered under RTI Act. No provisions of RTI Act are applicable to your school.

RTI applies only on Government departments and companies/organizations held under the control of the Central or State Governments. Your school being a private concern, you are not bound to supply any information under the RTI Act.

In your another question, you have attached word file.
Wherein it is stated that the pte schools come under RTI Act.
Please understand ur school is un-recognised by any governmental boards, as from ur question, asz such you need to disclose any info
