Hi,

Any company registered under Shops and Establishments Act with employee strength more than 20 need to register under ESI Act and all employees whose gross salary is Rs. 15000/- need to cover under ESI Act

1. FROM 1ST MAY 2010 ESI CORPN. AMENDED THE CEILING LIMIT FOR SALARY AS RS.15000/- WHO ARE DRAWING MORE THAN 15000/- ARE EXCLUDED EMPLOYEES, FOR PAYMENT OF CONTRIBUTION O.T.SALARY/WAGES WILL NOT BE COMPUTED.
2. ANY ESTABLISHMENT NOT USING H.P.LINE ENGAGING 20 AND ABOVE EMPLOYEES SHOULD COME UNDER THE PURVIEW OF THE ACT.
