There is no specific provision in CPC to file replication. One should file replication only if certain new facts have been stated by the defendant in his Written statement which needs to be denied

Replication means a Plaintiff's reply to a Defendant's answer.

Order VIII Rule 9 of CPC provides that with the leave of the Court any party can present a further pleading after the written statement has been filed. It has been laid down that the Courts are expected to be liberal in granting leave but on terms as the Court thinks fit in the circumstance of each case.
