Dear sir,
My problem is in 1974 my father pawned the land(1.33 acres) for Rs. 4000.00. Then after one year some money paid. But that person occupied the land. But my father land was not registered to the opposite person. But the registered shows now that the land was registered on the name of opposite person in 1971. So, when the land was pawned in 1974 (As i have the documents per proof.)How con the person registered on his name in 1971.So what would be suggestions on this case. Actually this land is my grand father.

was payment of rs 4000 made by cash or cheque ? was any receipt given ? if land was belonging to your grand father and it was not mortgaged till 1974 then the land could not be regd in name of lender . contact a local lawyer
what were you doing for 40 years ? any proof of repayment of loan ?
