Regarding caste change

Sir, My Mothers cate is Hindu Kurubas(IIA) and my Fathers cate is Hindu Valmiki(ST). But in my school certificates my mothers cate is writen and it is carried out through. Now I have completed my Doctorate degree and I want to change my cate to fathers cast. Kindly suggest me the procedure and the documents required for this purpose. Thanking you

Your parents may have added mother's caste in school records under greed that you may get reservations status which probably you do not need. However whatever be the school record, you cary the caste status of your father.

There is no procedure for change of caste. Had it been so the whole polulation would have changed.

Apply to the Tahsildar with the evidences of the caste your father belong.after verification, you can get it changed.

Tehsildar canissue certificate only if his father's caste is SC/ST/OBC. They do not issue certificate for gen candidate. His fayjer as aaprent from his description was a general candidate.

Even if school record (induced by his paretns) say so in the eye of law he is not ST.
