Regarding compund wall

(Querist) 03 May 2013 This query is : Resolved
Dear Sir/Madam,

Iam contructing house in my 1200 sqft feet plot ( 30 feet * 40 Feet ) in Bangalore north. As the adjacent plot is vacant land belonging to some other owner,Hence can i put my compound wall by encroaching only 3 inches in the vacant land belonging to other owner. So totally 3 inches multiplied by 30 feet comes to 7.5 feet, Overall i plan to put compound wall by encroaching 7.5 feet land belonging to other owner. Because by putting this compound wall, It will be beneficial to the owner of my adjacent vacant land in future. The 6 inches width compound wall length being 30 feet, When divided by 2 comes to 3 inches in width. So 3 inches on my side and 3 inches on the adjacent vacant land belonging to others, Legally is it allowed, Please advice me

cheers
Sushma
