Regarding dv case filing period

Hi Experts,
Recently saw many posts regarding DV case filing time limitation. is it applicable to all cases that case cannot be filed under DV act after 1 year of separation? or is it depend upon the circumstances of the case and then will be decided?

It is not that that a DVcase cannot be filed after a lapse of one year period from the date of such incident, it may not be effective and sustain due to is belated nature.

DV is continuing offence . it can be filed after period of one year

Its not true that DV case cannot be filed after one year of separation, it all depends upon the facts and circumstances of the case.
