Regarding evidentiary value of dying decleration

sir in our cour on advocate is defending the case of murder who died due to liver and kidney ruptured and he was hit by the stick and no body have seen that offence but when he came to home so he said to his relative that A hit him by the stick so is it have great value in evidence?

the evidence of relative is signifcant .after being hit by stick the deceased came home and informed his relative of the assault by A . the court will rely upon evidence of witness . the evidence of doctor as to nature of injuries , cause of death is also important .

dying declaration is a substantive piece of evidence.
The reason behind is that No one shall meet to his maker with keeping lie in his mouth.
But in your case the matter is quite different. Trustworthiness of that person can be challenged.
