Society should issue share certificate and if it does not do so, Consult local lawyer dealing in society cases.

1. A duly registered and stamp duty paid Sale-Purchase deed, for a immovable property, is conclusive for "Title-Ownership" of the Flat, under the Transfer of Property Act.
2. Even IF there is no Society .OR. even IF the existing Society does not give Share Certificate, it does not matter legally and neither will it, in any way, change the "Title-Ownership" of the Flat. The "Sale-Purchase deed", is conclusive document for purposes of Municipal records, Bank loan or whatever.
